We love them for the energy they bring
The hot showers in the morning
The warm and cosy homes
We love their clean green footprint
With so little global warming
We love their depth of cover
That hardly any soul can reach
When digging in the ground
We love that they are safe
And cannot rupture
Where people are around
We honour their long service
Of fifty years and more
And that when they are old and frail
We will make them young again
Either that
Or put them into rest
When they’ve given so much gain
