The M2WP runs from the existing Mardi Water Treatment Plant to Sparks Road at Warnervale, New South Wales and will boost water supply to the growing Warnervale Town Centre and surrounding areas.
At a cost of approximately $61 million, joint venture partners Spiecapag and Seymour White constructed the water pipeline on behalf of the Central Coast Council.
The video recaps the planning, construction and post-construction activities and includes the perspectives of key stakeholders.
Now operational, the M2WP is expected to ensure a stable long-term water supply to new and growing areas in the north of the region to support anticipated levels of growth and development over the next 20 years.
