Ball valve production
The specifications for VTA’s ball valve production capabilities are:
- Ball valves up to 1,067 mm #600, split body and fully welded for temperatures of up to 200 degrees Celcius;
- Up to 305 mm #600 rated ball valves for temperatures of up to 425 degrees Celcius, trunnion and floating type; and,
- High pressure trunnion ball valves up to 305 mm #2500, as well as floating type up to 102 mm #2500.
Coatings, overlays and welding
VTA also specialises in coatings, overlays and welding, offering the following services:
- Spray fusing with powder coating;
- Metal inert gas welding;
- Tungsten inert gas welding;
- Electric and gas welding;
- Plasma transferred arc welding;
- Hardfacing; and,
- Testing, repair and servicing of any type of valve up to 1,067 mm and pressures up to 700 bar.
