VFT PE Butt-Welding Crawler
The VFT 500 and 900 PE Butt-Welding Crawler is suitable for all types of high-density PE pipeline construction.
The butt-welding machine is suitable for pipe ranging from 180-900 mm and includes a 4,000 watt heater plate and a hydraulic facer.
What makes the VFT unique is its robust steel frame and its heavy undercarriage, which makes it suitable to operate in severe environmental conditions.
The operator sits inside the cabin and handles almost the entire process from inside the cabin, from picking up the pipe with the newly developed pick-up tip on the extended front boom, to butt-welding.
Arcotrac Paywelder
Available in a range of different sizes (900, 1100 1800, 1800 HD), and designed to conform with the requirements of large diameter pipeline construction, the Arcotrac Paywelder can accommodate up to six welding units mounted onto the paywelder.
Pipe bending machines
VIETZ has pipe bending machines available for pipe diameters ranging from 50.8-1,625.6 mm.
All of the machines are equipped with suitable bending sets (coated, uncoated or lined) and hydraulic mandrels.
Pneumatic internal line-up clamps and external clamps
VIETZ’s internal clamps are designed for thick walls and allow fast and accurate pipe alignment.
Pneumatic internal line-up clamps are available for pipe diameters ranging from 152.4-1,625.6 mm.
External line-up clamps are available for different pipe diameters – medium duty or heavy duty versions with hydraulic cylinders.
Vacuum lifting
The VacuVietz system operates completely independently from the carrier device and works according to the vacuum principle.
It has been designed to increase efficiency and safety on pipeline construction sites, with either 12 tonne (t) or 16 t lifting capacity guaranteed.
VIETZ also offers diesel engine driven welding units, generator sets built according to requirements specified by the customers, welding inverters suitable for use on construction sites, pipe facing machines, pipeline consumables, as well as plastic welding units for PE pipes and pipe tools.
