Valmec continues strong growth

Founded by an experienced team of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) and contracting professionals – each with more than 25 years in the Australian gas industry – Valmec has quickly built up an Australia-wide reputation for providing quality support and services to the local energy and resource sectors.

Since its Australian Stock Exchange listing in January this year, the company has gone from strength-to-strength, winning a range of significant service contracts including sizeable work orders for its specialised gas division.

With a continually expanding tender pipeline and with the successful execution of its current order book, Valmec remains well positioned to deliver further growth during the 2014-15 financial year.

Valmec Managing Director Steve Dropulich says the company has identified several sectors with a strong growth potential, including infrastructure development, gas shippers and government.

“Our pipeline of future project opportunities for 2014 and 2015 continues to grow and we see significant new opportunities developing for us across Australia, particularly in the strong Queensland, South Australian and Western Australian onshore conventional and unconventional gas markets.

“Ongoing gas development in these markets will in turn help to maintain strong growth in the construction of gas transport networks, a key business area for us, while supporting an unprecedented increase in industry revenue.”

Mr Dropulich says Valmec is focused on delivering a technologically diverse and competitive range of energy processing solutions to the Australian oil and gas industry.

Through the supply of specialised packaged equipment, construction, maintenance, commissioning and asset integrity services, Valmec offers its customers a single source for a range of integrated surface solutions to oil and gas processing and treating applications in process design, construction and commissioning.

To date Valmec’s projects have included turnkey construction of compressor station facilities; brownfields structural, mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation (SMPEI), construction upgrades and tie-in works; and gas pipeline SMPEI works.
