The contract covers the onshore facilities consisting of a gas plant and pipeline works. Technip’s operating centres in Perth and Kuala Lumpur will execute the contract, which is scheduled to be completed in 2013.
The Macedon Gas Field Development involves four offshore production wells supplying a 90 km long, 500 mm diameter wet gas pipeline to an onshore gas treatment plant.
The plant will have a nominal capacity of 200 MMcf/d per day. A 67 km, 500 mm diameter sales gas pipeline will interconnect with the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline for sale to the domestic gas market in Western Australia.
