Show your support for Help Kids Like Nick and the Cancer Council

Mr Dykes took his daughter Olivia and her classmate Holly to the Kokoda track on 21 September 2012 for eight days to complete the gruelling 96 km hike to raise money for a newly formed charity that supports kids born with Wolf Hirschhorn Syndrome.

The sponsorship account is still open for those who would like to contribute via electronic funds transfer:

Bank: Commonwealth Bank of Australia
Account name: Help Kids Like Nick
BSB number: 064 000
Account number: 13178089

Please ensure your name and Kokoda is used as your reference when making your payment and email details of your deposit, with your name and address to info@helpkidslikenick.com.au. A tax deductible receipt will then be issued.

In addition, Leon Stevens from PPI Corporation is shaving his beloved moustache on Friday 30 November 2012 for charity.

Leon has never shaved his moustache off in his life. Now there is a great cause to do it. His mother passed away a few months ago to bone cancer, and Leon is hoping to raise $5,000 for the Cancer Council.

The big moustache shave will take place following the Australian Pipeline Industry Association (APIA) Brisbane Christmas lunch function. This will be held in an area outside the ballroom of the Hilton Brisbane on Level 5.
