Shell completes major asset sale

barossa project

The facilities, including LNG storage tanks, jetties and operations infrastructure that service the project’s LNG trains, were sold to Global Infrastructure Partners Australia.

Shell remains the majority owner and operator of the common facilities and the transaction aligns the company’s interest with its 73.5 per cent stake in the overall QCLNG project.

The transaction will not impact the people or operations of QCLNG.
