The campaign saw 35 wells drilled at Roma North with production at the development’s plant nearing its initial capacity of 16 TJ/d.
Senex is now moving the Easternwell Rig 27 to Atlas, which like Roma North is also located in Queensland’s Surat Basin.
Senex Managing Director and CEO Ian Davies said the company was currently reviewing the options for future drilling.
“We are now focused on completing the Atlas drilling campaign by the end of FY20,” he said.
“Atlas production continues to ramp, with 95 per cent of expected volumes for calendar year 2020 contracted to high quality customers at fixed prices.”
Mr Davies said Senex was in a strong financial position with around two thirds of its oil production hedged at US$70/bbl (AU$95/bbl).
Gas from Atlas is produced entirely for domestic customers and is transported to market via Jemena’s Atlas Gas Pipeline.
