QLD YPF takes on the World Cup spirit

A superstitious date for some, it was an evening where everyone’s favourite personas took a distinctly Brazilian flavour, with some World Cup superstars in attendance.

There was some fierce competition, but in the end Gabrielle “˜Hulk’ Cooper came out on top with an impressive score to take the honours.

Once the bowling concluded and the voice boxes were lubricated, it was time to kick start the karaoke where Gabrielle was awarded her prize for winning, the honour of singing the first song.

Due to popular demand a game of laser tag was included in the agenda this year, adding another dimension to the evening.

The event was a great success and it was especially good to see a few fresh faces new to the pipeline industry getting involved and expanding the YPF’s contact list.

These events are not possible without the support of our sponsors, therefore thanks goes to Origin Energy and Enerflex for sponsoring the networking event.

New QLD YPF Chair

In additional news, Origin Energy’s Jordan McCollum has succeeded QGC’s Liam Hatchell as the QLD YPF Chair.

Thanks to Liam for leading the team for the past two-and-a-half years, and continuing the growth of the QLD YPF.
