QCLNG progresses

All 540 km of pipe for the project is now in Australia and is currently being delivered to holding sites along the pipeline route. First concrete has been poured at the LNG site.

The project involves the construction of an $A8 billion onshore CSG-to-LNG production and export facility with an initial production capacity of 8.5 MMt/a of LNG.

The project also includes a 194 km gas collection header pipeline to collect gas from centralised compressor facilities near QGC‘s Surat Basin tenements for delivery to a 334 km export pipeline, along with a 12 km pipeline crossing The Narrows from the mainland to Curtis Island and a 13 km lateral.
