More than 250 pipeline industry professionals took the opportunity to extend their well wishes for the forthcoming holiday season.
In typical Melbourne fashion, the morning was brisk but by 12 pm it had fined up and the sun was shining down on the grounds as pipeliners looked on and admired from above.
The crowd was entertained by ventriloquist Dean Atkinson who, much to the audience’s delight, turned PCS’ Ashley Gilbert and McConnell Dowell’s Alan Walker into his puppets.
The afternoon was proudly sponsored by PCS and Zinfra.
APIA also held Christmas functions in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.
