One of Australia’s leading pipeline integrity contractors is once again attending one of the world’s leading events dedicated to pigging and inline inspection (ILI).

Taking place in Houston, US from 28-31 January, the Pipeline Pigging & Integrity Management Conference (PPIM) is an industry forum devoted exclusively to pigging for pipeline maintenance and inspection, engineering assessment, repair, risk management and non-destructive evaluation.

In addition to an exhibition featuring more than 150 international companies specialising in integrity, pigging and ILI, the event includes an industry-leading four stream conference program.

It’s the seventh time Pipe Tek’s managing director Myles Brannelly and chief operating officer Taddam Farrant have attended the event.

Brannelly said PPIM is an important event for the integrity segment of the pipeline community, but also for Pipe Tek’s strategic partner Enduro Pipeline Services, which is a Platinum Sponsor of the event.

“PPIM is a great opportunity for Pipe Tek to connect with our friends and colleagues from Enduro, and represent the Australia-Pacific region on their stand in the exhibition,” he said.

“In addition to connecting with Enduro, it’s also an opportunity for us to see the latest integrity and pigging technology, as well as learning about the processes contractors are using in other parts of the world.

“Pipe Tek wants to be at the forefront of the integrity industry, and we’re committed to constantly innovating and ensuring we keep up to date with the latest and greatest.”

Brannelly extended an invitation to any Australian pipeliners interested in attending the event as a guest of Enduro.

“It’s a rare opportunity to visit more than 150 of the world’s top providers of pigging, ILI and integrity management services,” said Brannelly.

“Regardless of what aspect of what you specialise in, PPIM is an important event to attend for all pipeliners.”
