Located at 61-63 Spencer Street in Roma, the new 7,000 m2 facility will house workshop, manufacturing, inventory management and administration capabilities.
In particular, the new facility will support Valmec’s five-year, $100 million long-term agreement with Origin Energy at the Spring Gully gas facilities which involves a large range of construction and maintenance activities.
Valmec said the new facility and the Origin contract are helping turn the company into a “one stop shop” services over the full lifecycle of an asset from construction to commissioning and ongoing maintenance.
“We are proud to be able to provide both our asset services and engineering construction capability from our new offices in Roma,” said Valmec Managing Director Steve Dropulich.
“The expansion will support further employment opportunities in the local community and help us service our key clients in the region.”
