Pipe Tek has taken delivery of a shipment of 4 inch MFL-DfL combo and DdL Caliper tools, delivered directly from Enduro Pipeline Services’ manufacturing facility in the US.
Tools of this diameter are notoriously difficult to source, often requiring long lead times due to limited global availability.
Pipe Tek COO Taddam Farrant said it’s rare for a pipeline supplier to hold these specialised tools in stock, ready for immediate deployment.
“This latest delivery puts us in a unique position to support clients with urgent inspection requirements without the delays typically associated with international shipping,” he said.
Enduro’s MFL-DfL combo tool combines magnetic flux leakage and deformation inspection technologies in a single run, enabling operators to detect metal loss, corrosion and pipeline deformation at the same time, resulting in a more efficient and comprehensive integrity assessment.

The DdL Caliper tool is designed to accurately measure a pipeline’s internal geometry, detecting dents, ovalities and other deformations to help operators assess structural integrity and identify potential flow restrictions or mechanical damage.
Pipe Tek and Enduro entered into a partnership in 2019, making Pipe Tek the exclusive supplier of the company’s range of advanced pipeline technology in Australia.
Farrant said Enduro’s tools were recognised globally as being industry leading.
“By expanding its range of pipeline inspection tools we’re continuing to enhance our ability to deliver responsive, high-quality pipeline integrity services,” he said.
“Clients benefit not only from cutting edge inspection technology, but also from reduced downtime and faster project mobilisation,” he said.
“In an industry where timing is critical, having the right tools on hand makes all the difference.”
