The 810 Dx is an innovative product, introducing the constant current transmitter and a newly designed ergonomic receiver. Together, the system maximises the electromagnetic signal applied to the pipe and is more resistant to all types of weather conditions, making it suitable for all seasons.
Utilising unique transmitter technology, the 810 Dx is capable of maximum power using three levels of output and the special constant current circuitry. Sensing the resistance in the circuit including pipe and ground return, the transmitter applies the proper voltage to achieve a constant current output.
The result is maximum signal strength without operator intervention, called a Smart Maximum Strength transmitter or SmartMaxTM. Transmitter power levels are easily selected using oversized buttons for a better tactile feel even when using gloves. Extra bright LEDs illuminate the selected power level. The 810 Dx Transmitter is lightweight, making it easy to carry to the work site, and specifically designed for rugged contractor environments.
The receiver is ergonomically designed, with a special moulded handle for added comfort, which reduces arm fatigue. Large bright LCD, loudspeaker and intuitive operation make the 810 Dx receiver the most comfortable and quick instrument to carry all day. Standard “˜D’ cell alkaline or NiMH battery pack versions of the product are available.
