New distribution centre keeps PE piping moving in Australia

Advanced Piping Systems (APS) already has a strong reputation in the polyethylene (PE) piping industry for rapid response to customer supply and support.

The company’s operational policy of large stock holdings at its original distribution centre in South Australia has been pivotal in meeting the tight installation timelines required in the industry.

Advanced Piping has added a second distribution centre in Brisbane to further cut supply times to installers and projects in northern and eastern Australia.

“Because of our large stock holdings, we can offer a commitment to fast supply for projects. While our main distribution centre is central to most states, we found we could improve on that even further by opening a distribution centre near Brisbane,” said Advanced Piping’s Director.

Fast response

APS emphasises the importance of speed and responsive service in critical infrastructure applications.

“We have fast door-to-door dispatch services with a range of priority service options direct to mine sites, construction sites, on-forwarders or to any destination convenient to them for fast supply Australia wide and beyond,” said APS’s Director.

Hard-to-get products

APS has also developed a reputation for having unusual and hard-to-source products on hand.

“We also go beyond the normal catalogue ranges to source unusual products in different sizes and materials. This helps provide the vital link between the latest global fittings and pipe systems technology, and the industries that use them. These include Australian mine sites, oil and gas plants, civil contractors, engineers and fabricators. It’s all part of being able to deliver complete and efficient solutions for projects,” said APS’s Director.
