New “˜familiar’ faces join OSD

Brian O’Sullivan, Managing Director of OSD Energy Services said that he was delighted to have recently appointed the new members of his team, further strengthening OSD’s market position as Australia’s leading specialist pipeline engineering and advisory firm.

Susan Jaques has joined OSD as a Project Manager and will be based in the Brisbane office. Susan is highly regarded in the oil and gas pipeline industry, and her enthusiasm and dedication to the industry is well known. Five years with a pipeline operator in Canada and eight years with engineering companies in Australia has provided Susan with a wealth of experience in many aspects of pipeline projects, including project engineering, construction, risk assessments, operations management and most recently, project management. Susan’s responsibilities involve managing various pipeline projects as well as aspects of the business operations for OSD in the Brisbane Office.

Clive Perrett has taken up a role as a Principal Engineer in the Perth office. Clive brings to OSD over thirty-five years of experience in heavy engineering in electricity generation, and the gas and water industries. From 2000 to 2004 Clive was Manager for all major construction work in AGL in Australia, including gas transmission pipelines, gas compressor stations, power station construction and water infrastructure. Clive’s experience includes engineering design, project and contract management, installation and commissioning of generation, distribution, transmission, gas and water assets.

Cliff Richard joins the team as a Principal Pipeline Consultant, also in the Perth office. Cliff has over thirty-five years of experience in engineering design, project and contract management, and installation and commissioning of gas distribution and transmission projects. From 2000 to 2004 Cliff was Project Manager for all gas projects for Agility in WA. Cliff has gained a wealth of hands-on experience in the gas pipeline industry in route selection, design, regulatory requirements and construction, and he was most recently the principal pipeline consultant for a large, complex pipeline system feasibility study in WA.

Ben Richmond rounds off the recent appointments as a Senior Pipeline Engineer in OSD’s Brisbane office. Ben has over ten years of experience in the natural gas pipelines industry, having worked in a number of different roles in the fields of business development and engineering. He has a strong multi-disciplinary background and has been involved in a number of facets of engineering including carrying out transient analysis studies of both new and existing gas pipeline and network systems. Ben’s experience also includes project engineering, design and commissioning.
