Abigroup, the contractor building the $A137.9 million water pipeline, has now begun work on the project, which is set to connect Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula and the Surf Coast to the Victorian Government’s major water projects.
Construction of the pipeline is expected to be complete in 2011, and once finished will deliver up to 16 BL/a of water.
