Macquarie pipeline update

The report defines the key issues relating to this project and address the Director General’s requirements for planning approval, focusing on hydrology and the justification of the project under a climate change scenario.

The length of the proposed pipeline has also been revised from 40-45 km to 37 km, and will have a diameter of 375 mm.

The project is set to commence construction at the end of 2011.
