The appointment of Lou Guevara as General Manager Australasia overseeing sales, rentals and product support has seen the company expand into the markets of Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
In 2014, a 1,266 m2 warehouse was established in Clontarf, a small but vibrant industrial estate on Brisbane’s northern side, located 25 minutes from the airport with excellent access to major highways.
The Vacuworx Australia facility is fully stocked to support its customers with lifting systems ranging from 3 to 20 tonnes, pads covering pipes sized 100-1000 mm, and a full range of parts.
In January 2015, Lynda Mallinder joined the company as Administration and Customer Support Manager.
Vacuworx is proud to be associated with a number of prominent projects in Australia over past few years, including the Eastern Goldfields Pipeline and the Victorian Northern Interconnect Expansion.
Vacuworx distributor, ISCO Australia, has supplied lifters to projects in Western Australia, the Surat Basin and even Papua New Guinea.
Partnering with Renfrey Plant Hire in Adelaide and Porter Hire in Brisbane, Vacuworx has lifters ready to mobilise in the Cooper Basin, South Australia and Dalby, Queensland.
Both Renfrey and Porter are able to supply a turnkey solution (host machine and lifter) for customers who need to handle pipes.
With a strong brand reputation in the market, the imminent arrival of a new lighter weight hydraulically powered vacuum lifter, on top of an expected increase in pipeline activity over the coming months, 2016 promises to be an exciting year for Vacuworx in Australia.
