During their meeting in Cairo, the two ministers discussed the implemented steps of the project’s 395-km long second phase which goes through Jordan to the Syrian border. In this context, both sides looked at the possibility of an agreement between both countries to export the Egyptian natural gas to Syria for industry and electricity generation.
