The system consists of (a) the Millennium Pipeline, a 300-km long, 12-in diameter, crude oil pipeline with 65m brl/d operating capacity, originating near the Partnership’s Nederland terminal, and terminating at Longview Texas; (b) the Kilgore Pipeline, a 320-km long, 10-in diameter, crude oil pipeline with 35,000brl/d capacity, originating in Kilgore, Texas, and terminating at refineries in Houston; and (c) storage at Kilgore and Longview.
Sunoco Logistics Partners was formed to acquire, own, and operate refined product and crude oil pipelines and terminal facilities, including those of Sunoco, Inc, and it has two significant systems. The Eastern Pipeline System consists of approximately 3040-km of its own refined-product pipelines, and interests in four further refined products pipelines (9.4% in Explorer Pipeline, 31.5% in Wolverine Pipe Line, 12.3% in West Shore Pipe Line, and 14.0% in Yellowstone Pipe Line). The Western Pipeline System consists of approximately 4270km of crude oil pipelines in Oklahoma and Texas, along with a 43.8% interest in the West Texas Gulf Pipe Line and a 37.0% interest in the Mesa Pipe Line System, obtained in December.
