The gas pipeline project is due to start in 2007. Senator Dilawar Abbas, who accompanied Aziz in the meeting, said that NOC officials also hinted their desire to visit Pakistan for exploring new oil and gas reserves in Pakistan. He said that NOC was eager to invest in Pakistani oil and gas sectors. Abbas further said that officials of Pakistan’s Oil and Gas Development Co would also visit South Korea to speak with interested companies.
