RSTRENG training to satisfy OQ requirements

RSTRENG is the preferred technology as it is less conservative than ASME B31G, and its use thereby often results in lower costs to the pipeline owner or operator. A one-day short-course is now being offered to provide a basic understanding of how the technology works, to summarize the techniques’ benefits and limitations, to summarize the steps involved in performing an RSTRENG evaluation, to demonstrate how the program should be used in the field, and to provide an overview of how to properly interpret results, and what to look for when analysing the data and quality control of the results.

This training is endorsed by the technology provider, the Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI), and is being provided by Technical Toolboxes on 22 and 29 July. The cost is $495/person; for further details, contact Joe Summa or Harry Littrell at Technical Toolboxes, tel: +1 713 828 1318, fax: +1 713 630 0560, or email: jsumma@ttoolboxes.com.
