PTC will introduce the complimentary side courses in addition to its regular program of six seminars, several plenary sessions and 25 technical sessions when it takes place in Berlin, Germany.
These two additional key topics – public perception and qualification and recruitment – will be presented on 18 March, before the traditional technical conference and exhibition takes place on 19–21 March.
The qualification and recruitment stream will address the pipeline industry’s need to remain an attractive employer for qualified young talent on an international level.
It will discuss the international exchange of experience and how this is essential for training and further education.
The public perception stream will address the public debate and critical examination that surrounds pipeline projects.
As previous practices in dealing – or not dealing – with the public are no longer accepted, there will be a strong focus on various approaches to handling criticism, protest and manipulation.
Both PTC side courses will take place simultaneously at the Estrel Berlin and will be simultaneously translated from English into German.
A number of registration types are available for the event.
