The Pipeline Pigging and Integrity Management Conference and Exhibition (PPIM) is the industry’s only forum devoted exclusively to pipeline pigging for maintenance and inspection, as well as pipeline integrity assessment and repair.
Bringing together engineering management and field operating personnel from both transmission and distribution pipeline companies concerned with improved operations and integrity management, the conference will address all aspects of pipeline safety.

The debate over pipeline safety has taken centre stage in a world of growing energy demand and new resources to meet it. It’s known that pipelines are the safest and most economical way to move oil and gas, but the controversy has intensified as both their criticality to infrastructure and the incidence of failure due to aging and other factors have increased.
Technical sessions will include:
- Utility pigging – cleaning, sealing, gauging
- In-line inspection
- Inspection intervals
- Integrity assessment, including assessment of defects detected by inspection
- Prioritisation of maintenance and repairs
- Mapping
- Geometry inspection
- Leak detection
- Corrosion detection and monitoring, including special threats such as Cracking Regulations
