The Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute (UESI) Pipelines 2019 Conference, taking place in Nashville, US on 21–24 July 2019, will feature three keynote presentations.
UESI is part of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the event will provide a forum for pipeline engineers and practitioners from all around the world to share their experiences in meeting the challenges of today’s pipeline infrastructure.
Attendees will have the opportunity to share and gain valuable knowledge related to planning, designing, constructing, renewing, operating, managing and maintaining the lifeline assets, as well as surveying as it relates to pipeline and utility projects.
At each of the three key events – the plenary breakfast, awards luncheon and wellness lunch – a unique speaker will engage with attendees to entertain and impart wisdom.
At the plenary breakfast, American country music artist Lionel Cartwright will offer insight into the music industry and the need to negotiate change throughout life, as well as discussing his experience with risk, perseverance and vulnerability to overcome life’s challenges.
At the awards lunch, former DC Water CEO and Moonshot Partners Founder George Hawkins will discuss approaches to water infrastructure upgrades that can enable utilities to improve services at lower cost.
At the wellness lunch, Local Latin CEO Johanna Belsuzarri will talk about health at work and home, offering useful information for eating while on the road, possibilities for upgrading work travel and stress management.
