PLM said that EMSolutions has been developed to give equipment owners and operators remote access to equipment data and provide the support needed to analyse and act on the information received.
EMSolutions is enabled by Product Link technology that collects data directly from equipment and provides access to valuable information via the VisionLink Web application. PLM said that this helps owners and operators to make better decisions, faster, based on equipment location, fuel burn, alerts and more.
EMSolutions allows equipment owners and operators to:
- View all equipment at a glance with a “÷Fleet Summary’ dashboard;
- Monitor daily fuel usage, route fuel trucks efficiently, and track equipment usage day-by-day and hour-by-hour to effectively manage assets’ performance and condition;
- Compare working time versus idle time to improve utilisation; and,
- Analyse asset alerts and provide co-ordination for service, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime.
