The 12 inch diameter pipeline will have an initial capacity of 60,000 bbl/d of oil, with the possibility of expanding capacity to 110,000 bbl/d.
The pipeline will originate approximately 25 km west of the Four Bears Bridge on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation and connect with another line about 30 km northwest of Dickinson.
Pipeline developer Bridger Pipeline anticipates that construction will commence in the first week of October and finish by mid-2011.
