The tapping tees are available to connect to pipe in 63, 90, and 110-mm diameters, and all have a 25-mm take-off connection. They have been third-party tested and certified by the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS), and are currently being used in contaminated land sites across the UK.
The company says that one of the major benefits of the system is the position of an aluminium barrier layer, which is located centrally within the polyethylene pipe wall. In addition, the barrier layer is longitudinally welded throughout, ensuring a very high level of system protection. There is no need to remove the protective layer prior to making a joint to the system, and therefore no requirement for post-installation wrapping of joints, giving customers and installers high confidence.
