The Horn River Pipeline Project consists of two primary components: NOVA’s acquisition and operation of a section of the Ekwan Pipeline and the construction and operation of new pipeline and metering facilities.
The new facilities include a total of 74.2 km of new pipeline, 72 km of which has been labelled the “Cabin Section’ and 2.2 km labelled the “Komie East Extension’. Four new meter stations will also be constructed, and the existing Ekwan meter station will be modified.
The National Energy Board’s approval to proceed includes 31 conditions which NOVA must comply with during construction and operation of the project.
