The agreement was signed by KSIDC Managing Director Alkesh Sharma and GAIL Executive Director of Marketing J Wason.
The total length of the Kochi – Mangalore – Bangalore pipeline is 1,110 km and it will have a capacity of 16 MMcm/d. The pipeline is estimated to cost Rs 2,850 crores ($US 585 million).
