The three year contract includes work on a 22 km offshore pipeline and a 9 km onshore pipeline. The project supports gas storage from offshore Spain which will be reinjected into the Spanish national grid.
JPK will also be providing services for a block valve station, a 31 km fibre optic cable, control umbilical, subsea isolation valve and protection structure.
“This project demonstrates our expertise in project management as well as design and reinforces our significant portfolio of major infrastructure projects in and across the Mediterranean, including the Balearic, Medgaz and GALSI pipelines,” said Managing Director of JPK London David Baker.
