Iroquois announces open season for NYMarc

The NYMarc Pipeline will interconnect with both the Tennessee Gas Pipeline Company in Sussex County, New Jersey, and the Millennium Pipeline Company in Orange County, New York and traverse approximately 106 km before tying into Iroquois’ mainline in Pleasant Valley, New York.

“Iroquois’ NYMarc project will provide producers with access to one of the highest priced markets in North America while benefiting Iroquois’ existing customer base by augmenting their current access to the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin and Dawn, Ontario Hub,” said Marketing, Development, and Commercial Operations Vice President Scott Rupff.

The final design and scope of the project will be determined by the results from the open season and the closing date for bids is 29 January 2010.

Commissioning of the NYMarc Pipeline project is planned for November, 2014.
