Hannover Pipeline Technology Conference 2010 calling for submissions

The conference is a platform for discussions on new key projects, operational improvements, pipeline integrity, safety aspects and new technologies and is currently seeking submissions from people interested in speaking at the 2010 conference.

Participants in previous Pipeline Technology Conferences have included decision-makers from oil, gas and water corporations, authorities, operators, research institutes and engineers from all over the world.

Interested speakers are encouraged to submit an abstract describing the main ideas of their paper together with the author’s CV via {encode=”fandrich@eitep.de” title=”email”}. Each speaker will be given 20 minutes in which to make their presentation with an additional 5-10 minutes allocated for discussion. Abstracts must be submitted by 31 December 2009.

The conference will feature lectures and presentations on all aspects surrounding pipeline systems with the World Pipeline Outlook session officially opening the conference. Political, managerial and technical topics covered at the conference will include present and future security of energy supply and new pipeline projects in Germany and Europe as well as a forum dedicated to providing an exchange for decision makers for the three highly interconnected regions of Europe, Asia and Africa.
