The energy minister, who has been mandated by the country’s cabinet to lead the negotiations with Port-of-Spain, says several major private sector entities in Trinidad and Tobago are backing the project including Guardian Holdings and Trinidad and Tobago Unit Trust, and she’s in no doubt whatsoever that it will work and redound to the benefit of both Caricom states.
