Feasibility study for gas distribution network in Peru

The pipeline project would distribute gas to Peru’s SW departments of Arequipa, Moquegua, and Tacna.

The feasibility study will be conducted primarily by Arcan, which will have a roughly 65% participation, Arcan president NÌ©stor Goytia said. The contract was awarded to the consortium for roughly $196,000, Mr Goytia confirmed, adding that ProInversiÌ_n had stipulated a maximum of $200,000 in the bidding rules. The bid process for the feasibility study was launched on 22 January, and ProInversiÌ_n received bids on 8 March; Arcan was informed of ProInversiÌ_n’s decision at the beginning of April, Goytia said.
