The company also commissioned a number of sections of the 42 inch diameter 220 km AlmerÌ_a – Chinchilla Pipeline, a section of the 24 inch diameter, 63.8 km Montesa – Denia Pipeline and the Lumbier Compressor Station, the enlargement of the Haro Compressor Station.
Enagas also plans to bring a 268 km pipeline connecting the Balearic Islands to the mainland into operation by the third quarter of this year.
The 20 inch diameter pipeline comprises two sections. The first, from Denia to Punta de Cala GraciÌ_ (Ibiza), is 123 km long. The second stretch, from San Antonio de Portmany (Ibiza) to the San Juan de Dios (Mallorca) thermal power station is 145 km long.
