The FERC approval authorizes ANR to replace 7.6km of an existing 14-in gas pipeline with a 30-in line in Washington County, add 5.6km of 8-in looping on the Denmark Lateral in Brown County, and modify its existing Mountain Compressor Station in Oconto County, Wisconsin. “The FERC approval is a key milestone for this project as we continue the growth of our pipeline system in this region,” said Steve Beasley, president of ANR Pipeline Co. “As demand for natural gas increases in Wisconsin, the EastLeg Expansion will allow us to provide safe, reliable natural gas transportation services, particularly to new power plants in the area. With the increased capacity, customers can expect continued stability in the region’s natural gas markets.”
