There is no clear timetable, but sources within the company said that construction would begin soon and is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year. The design capacity of the pipeline will be 1 bn cum/yr, and the 98.2-km long pipeline will promote the development of coalbed methane in the Qinshui basin and help boost gas supply in areas along the route, the NDRC said.
