Biennial pipeline event fast approaching

The event is hosted by the Canadian Energy Pipeline Association (CEPA) and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), attracting more than 6,500 pipeline experts from across the globe.

As a biennial event, IPC provides a forum for industry, government, regulators and the public to learn about leading edge technology in pipeline engineering and discuss current or emerging issues facing the industry.

The conference features keynote speakers, 300+ technical papers across eight tracks, tutorials, panel discussions, student papers and awards.

The events organisational board and organising committee have continued monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic and its potential impact on the conference, including monitoring health authorities and government recommendations.

At the time of writing, the conference is still scheduled to take place in person; however, the organisers said all options will continue to be evaluated, including the possibility of a partial or full virtual conference taking place to meet the needs of attendees and manage existing constraints.
