The submission period for the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International (ASME) Global Pipeline Award (GPA) has been extended and the deadline for applications is now 30 August 2011.
This year’s award will be presented at the Rio Pipeline Conference, which will take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 20-22 September.
The GPA was established by the Pipeline Systems Division of the International Petroleum Technology Institute of ASME. The annual award is presented to, in the opinion of the judging committee, the organisation that has been responsible for the most outstanding achievement in the field of pipeline transportation for the year. Other criteria include outstanding innovations and technological advances in the field of pipeline transportation.
