The pipeline will originate approximately 450 km south of New Orleans, Louisiana, in 2.16 km of water and terminate at GC19. From GC19, Jack/St Malo owners will have a variety of pipeline options for moving crude oil to most major trading hubs and refineries in the Gulf Coast region.
Startup of the hub facility, which is expected to have an initial production capacity of 170,000 bbl/d of oil, is anticipated in 2014.
Chevron Pipe Line Company will construct and operate this pipeline for Amberjack Pipeline Company.
