Algeria and Venezuela to sign pipeline and LNG terminal deals

“Sonatrach is looking for opportunities upstream, and participation in a plant,” he the minister is reported as saying at a gas conference in Qatar. He said that Sonatrach would be ideal to work with because of its experience in the pan-African pipeline between Nigeria to Algeria, although this pipeline has not yet been constructed. He added that Gazprom was also interested: “We have signed an agreement with Gazprom,” Mr Ramirez said, “and they are very experienced in building such pipelines.”
