The inspections will assess the pipeline easement to monitor the infrastructure and progress of vegetation rehabilitation. Aerial inspections will take place from west of Dalby at the Ruby Jo Central Processing Plant to west of Wandoan at the Woleebee Creek site, and between Chinchilla and Gladstone during the first half of October. Daily on-ground easement inspections from Ruby Jo to Gladstone will also take place. APA Group acquired the Queensland Curtis LNG (QCLNG) Pipeline from BG Group in June 2015 for $A5.9 billion, renaming it’s the Wallumbilla Gladstone Pipeline. BG Group subsidiary QGC will continue to operate the pipeline until APA has the option to take over operatorship in June 2016. BG Group holds a 93.75 per cent stake across the two-train QCLNG Project, along with Chinese state oil and gas producer CNOOC (10 per cent) in the first train and Japan’s Tokyo Gas (2.5 per cent) in the second train.
