Industry appeals for bipartisan approach to energy market reform

Matthew Warren has argued that it was in the long-term interests of consumers, the environment and the economy for the two major parties to come together and broker a bipartisan approach to energy market reform.

“The current debate around the future of the Renewable Energy Target completely misses the point,” Mr Warren said.

“We need to continue the transformation of our energy system, and this will require thinking far beyond the design of the current RET scheme”.
