Scope of work covers provisions of services, management, supervision, labour, tools, and equipment for the installation of pre-formed foam glass insulation sections, vapour barrier, mineral wool and external cladding to:
- Pipe sections at field weld locations;
- Pipe sections at lifting locations;
- Loose supplied pipe fittings;
- Pipe and Fitting Sections at temporary support locations;
- Pipe insulation at cold shoe locations;
- Flange locations;
- Loose supplied manual and control valve locations; and,
- Instrument locations.
EVT JV, a joint venture between EV LNG Australia and Thiess, was awarded the subcontract by Bechtel for the engineering, procurement and construction of two full containment LNG storage tanks at Ashburton North, Western Australia.
Full scope closes 11 May 2015.
The Wheatstone Project is currently 55 per cent complete, with first LNG expected in 2016.
