Pipeline Engineering Consultants specialises in onshore buried pipeline and shore crossing design. PEC provides an integrated CAD and engineering design service for the oil, gas and water industry.

It has the in-house expertise and experience to develop documents and drawings from conceptual, front-end engineering design, detail design through to ‘Approved for Construction’ including verification of pipelines to AS 2885 and RPEQ sign-off.

The range of engineering and design services that it can provide includes pipeline design to AS 2885, ISO 13623, BS EN 14161, ASME B31.4 and B31.8, plant piping design to ASME B31.3 and PE pipe design to AS 2566.

PEC specialises in horizontal directional drilling (HDD) design and has been involved in over 100 HDD crossings in Australia, including 14 shore crossings.

The designs have been performed for operators, EPCI contractors and HDD installation contractors. The HDD designs include profile development, installation assessments, breakover analysis, hydraulic fracture assessment and pipeline integrity verification.
