The program is made up of a $150 million ten year Institutional loan and $350 million of seven year bank debt facilities, sourced from existing lenders, including Japanese financiers who have supported the business over several transactions.
“These transactions deliver longer dated tenor on competitive terms, supported by DBP’s strong institutional and banking relationships,” said DBP CEO Stuart Johnston.
The total amount raised will be applied to repay existing debt maturing in the first half of the 2017 calendar year.
DBP owns and operates the Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline in Western Australia, the only natural gas pipeline connecting the Carnarvon Basin to industrial, commercial and residential customers in Perth and the surrounding region.
The pipeline runs 1,596 km from the Burrup Peninsula near Dampier to Bunbury in the south-west of WA.
